Mediware Information Systems Technology Internship
Here's some body of work during my time of employment at Mediware Information Systems Technology in Overland Park, KS. Pieces created vary from collateral to event badges over the course of my 6 month internship. It was great exposure to learn the ropes of design in both print and digital media. My mentor, Michael Cooley, worked with me in not just creating well-designed pamphlets and brochures, but also in building an intranet for the company from the start. Unfortunately, my work on the site wasn't finished since my internship ended. The experience alone is something I still carry to work more on website design and any user interface medium. 2014 Opportunity Rocks Brochure
This brochure was designed with the help of my mentor. It was one of the bigger projects that needed to be designed in a short time frame while having to follow corporate branding guidelines.
Rise Above Event Logo
Logo design for a rehabilitation event in Arizona. I created this logo to represent the area where the event was taken place near Pinnacle Creek. With it's iconic shape, it make for an eye catching symbol that made sense to the theme Rise Above. Color choices came from some color samples that were normally found in the desert landscape to tie it more closely to the area.
